A Message to Our Clients

by CUBE Team

You have been with us through the building of something we believe in deeply. Before we share this with the world, we want you to hear it directly from us.

We have made a decision that changes what CUBE is. Not what it does for you today, but what it becomes for you going forward.

We want to be transparent about what that means and why we made this call.

What Is Not Changing

Everything you use today stays exactly as it is.

Your estimating workflow. Your design tools. Your commissioning documentation. Your panel terminal automation. Your wiring diagrams. Your team’s processes. None of it goes away. None of it changes.

Your data is yours. Your work continues without interruption.

What Is Changing

CUBE is moving from a closed platform to an open one.

We are shifting our architecture to a Docker-based framework with full API access. What that means in plain terms: developers, manufacturers, and technology partners can now build their own applications directly inside CUBE and make them available to every contractor already on the platform.

CUBE stops being a product you buy and becomes the platform you build your business on. Your tools, your integrations, your way.

Why We Made This Decision

We did not make this decision because we wanted to. We made it because we had to.

Technology in the BMS industry is moving faster than any single company can keep up with. New controllers. New protocols. New sequences of operation. New ways of connecting buildings to the engineers who design, commission, and maintain them.

No single company can build fast enough to meet every demand this industry is placing on technology right now. Not us. Not anyone.

Your clients are becoming developers. This is the spreadsheet all over again, but now powered by AI and an enormous amount of data that drives decisions. The companies that adapt fastest will not just work differently. They will compete in a category their competitors cannot reach.

Our commitment to you has not changed. We are not rebuilding and moving on. We are rebuilding and coming back stronger. That is exactly the reason why we made this move.

What This Means for You

The platform never hits a ceiling.

Whatever technology emerges in this industry, it can plug into CUBE. You are not waiting for us to build it. You are not buying a separate tool and managing another subscription. It lives where your work already happens.

Manufacturers come to you.

The controllers and systems you work with every day are integrating directly into CUBE. Less manual configuration. Fewer disconnected tools. More of the work happening automatically inside the platform you already use.

You get every capability, not just the ones we had time to build.

Developers across the industry can now build capabilities inside CUBE and make them available to every contractor on the platform. The gap between what you need and what is available closes faster than any single team could close it.

What Happens Next

We will be sharing more details in the coming weeks as we roll this out. You will hear from us before anything changes in your workflow.

If you have questions, want to understand what this means for your specific setup, or want to be part of the early access program, reach out directly. We would rather have this conversation with you one on one.

Nobody can stop what is coming in this industry. We decided to become the platform it runs on.

Thank you for being part of this.
